So, I end up buying one at less than half the price ($17.99 Canadian) from Sabrent - never heard of them, so probably no luck here. Imagine my surprise when I discover that, not only is it a PL-2303 device, but it has Windows CE 3.x and 4.x, ARM and X86, drivers on the included mini CD in the form of CAB files!!It gets better. I copy the CAB file to my e750, run it, connect my GPS and voila (pardon my French) it connects (although I had fotgotten to switch the GPS to NMEA data at 4800 baud from Sirf binary at 38400, so a little heart attack for a short while). I use Mapopolis, which scans available ports so it's easy to set up (it more or less does it itself). Razer synapse deathadder essential. I checked the Sabrent web site for driver updates, but the files there did not include the CE drivers.Bottom line - if you have the e750 with expansion pack, check out the Sabrent SBT-USC1K USB to Serial Converter from tigerdirect.com.

Dear tanbam and all,thanks for your help, just to let anybody that stumbled upon the same problem, the cable i mentioned early in the tread does indeed work, with the driver stated by tanbam and register tweaking are not neccessaryand to share something that i encountered, connecting a garmin legend to my e335 will usually work if i turn on the pda first then followed by gps, else the e335 will failed to recognized any signal output by the gps, i could be wrong, please share your experience, thank you alleggs. Hello all,I am trying to use a USB to Serial cable from a MIO P350. I have installed the Prolific drivers mentioned earlier in this thread but still cannot connect using the cable. When I look at the Ports available, there appear to be no additional ones from the standard (COM0 thru COM4) that mention USB to Serial. The driver appeared to install OK (in fact it appears in the list of installed programs). Does this need some kind of Registry change to make it work?
