DS-XG Windows 7 DriverYamaha Consumer Electronics, Inc. No longer supports PCI Soundcards of the following series YMF724, YMF740, YMF744, YMF754. So it does not provide drivers for these cards for the newer os Windows 7.So when i searched the forums for any available solutions, the only solution that was available was to through away the old card and buy a new card that supports windows 7.I spent a lot of time to finally get a working driver for this card on windows 7.

Open device manager.4. Rigcht click ont the device and select update driver.5. Then select, 'Install from a specific location' and select the folder you have just extracted the downloaded driver.6. Finish installationNow your Sound card will be working properly.
