Version 1.1.1 AboutKeybinder allows you to map keyboard, mouse or game controller input to keyboard commands. The program was originally written for myself as I found not all games were supporting controllers. Having tried some other free programs and not liking them, I decided to write my own, thus Keybinder was born. Key features are.

Supports any game controller that supports direct input. You can also map mouse or keyboard input to actions. Voice commands using Windows built in speech recognition.

Up to 32 key actions for each command. (Key up, down, press, timed & delay). Joystick axis can be ranged, to give multiple commands per axis. Send a string of text as key presses (useful for automated chat).

Automatically switch profiles when your game/application is launched. Switch profiles based on CPU use by the game/application. Works with most, if not all games (I haven’t found one it doesn’t work with yet)Screenshots. Requirements. Windows XP/,Vista,7.

The right joystick has 2 horizontal settings, ZAxis – (move left) and ZAxis + (move right). In the controller tab there’s no error with this, but when i try to bind the right motion to the right arrow key, (ZAxis + triggers the RIGHT key), i’ll create a new keybind and move the joystick right, and it registers as left! So when i move the joystick right it registers as ZAxis – and not ZAxis + and when i test it, and move the joystick to the right nothing happens and when i move it left both the LEFT and RIGHT keys highlight, showing me that its not the remote its the thing that binds the controller control in the first step of creating a new keybind, i would appreciate a small update fixing this error.

As I don’t play games quite as much these days, it doesn’t get used as much, so they don’t get found as quickly. I have however, over the last 6 months, fixed quite a few bugs in the version I have here. I have not updated it on the website because I have never had any feedback from anyone to say they were using it. I will have a look at the code and see if I can spot anything, although I have a sneaky feeling I fixed this bug already. I have a controller using the Z axis that works fine.So, is it only the ZAxis that is at fault?

Does the controller have other axis and do they work as expected? I will have a look later, and maybe push out a new version via the auto update.
